What is In-Ground Installation?
In-Ground installation consists of 4 x 4 posts that are 4 feet in length. With the combination of an auger and post hole digger we dig a whole at an average 2 feet and lay cement. 2 feet of the post will be submerged underground and the other 2 feet will remain above ground that will attach to your playset. In-Ground installation secures and gives your playset the strength stability to your playset. Also, please note you will be able to relocate your playset if your family moves, see “What if my family moves?”
What kind of lumber does Mighty Swings Use?
Mighty Swings Playsets are made of Grade #1, kiln-dried southern yellow pine. Pressure-treated lumber to ground-contact specifications. It is made in the USA and is environmentally sound. It is Certified safe for Playground Equipment Use. Upon each individual sale, your order is placed in production and your playground project is custom prepared to meet your order. Using our expertise we prepare the proper cut specifications and pre-drill recessed holes for our Industrial Grade Hardware. Then with our unique milling process, every edge and corner is routered to our 3/8” extreme and we sand every exposed surface to Mighty Swings perfection! In addition, we plane, route, sand, cut, drill every board for maximum safety and quality. Compared to redwood or cedar, our wood will be stronger, last longer.
What maintenance is necessary for the Playset?
Mighty Swings recommends that you pressure wash and water seal your wood every two years. Applying the water seal will help condition and preserve the natural wood, it’s cosmetic appeal and colorization.
What if my family moves?
Mighty Swings offers Relocation services of our any Mighty Swings Playsets from one location to another within our service zone. If you are relocating outside of our service area, please feel free to contact and we will assist you in the best way possible and be available for any assistance. Relocation Service fees will apply. No nails are used in the construction of your playsets aiding in relocation construction.

No, the great thing about our In-Ground installation services is that we can accommodate any landscaping challenge.
Once we decide to purchase what is the process?
Once a client decides on the playground they are interested in we will work with them individually to customize the set to meet their needs and budget. We will then schedule the delivery date for on-site delivery and set-up. Upon final sale your order is placed in production and your project is prepared to meet your specifications. Every playground project has an average shop time of 4 to 8 hours. The on-site installation at your home or business has an average of 2 to 4 hours. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, check or cash cards for method of payment.
Does Mighty Swings offer a warranty on my Playset?
Mighty Swings warrants all accessories for two years from date of purchase and we will repair or replace, at our option, any part which is defective due to materials or workmanship. Normal wear and tear are excluded.
All Pressure Treated Wood has a Lifetime Warranty against decay or damage from termites or rot.
Damages resulting in cracks; or cracks from lawn services around equipment, color fade or normal wear and tear is excluded from warranty. Surface checks, cracks, warping or bowing may appear in the wood and are a natural characteristic of the wood. Because these conditions are not structural in nature they are specifically excluded. For any concerns you may have please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. Safety is our top priority. All requested project evaluations will be minimum cost of one hundred dollars per trip fee after installation. Any repairs or replacements when possible will be quoted and performed on-site to restore safety as quickly as possible. Our playgrounds are designed to provide the highest quality with limited maintenance required. At minimum, annually, please evaluate your playground and contact us immediately with any concerns.

Would having Underground utilities Sprinkler System or the like delay our installation?
Mighty Swings will dig approximate 4 feet underground to install 4 x 4 post that attach to playset where deemed necessary to compliment strength, stability, and to aid us in accommodating any unlevel terrain.
Upon scheduling your Mighty Swings playset installation, we recommend that you call Georgia Utilities Protection Center out of Duluth at 811 or 1-800-282-7411 (Georgia Statewide) to notify and to request your play area to be marked. This one call system is no charge and is funded by the utilities companies and acts as a non-profit organization to aid you a safe way to “Call before you Dig.”
It is the responsibility of the homeowner or business owner to ensure that your play area does not have any underground utilities, sprinkler system or the like. Mighty Swings cannot be held responsible for any damages done due to digging.

Where does Mighty Swings manufacture the Mighty Swings Playsets?
From our Mighty Swings Workshop of course! We have a 2,500 square foot Manufacturing facility and warehouse location in Buford, Georgia. In-house we custom-create and manufacture every wooden detail of the Mighty Swings Set to the specifications of your project ordered.
No middle man is a savings we pass on to you. Every playground project has
an average shop time of 4 to 8 hours. The on-site installation at your home
or business has an average of 2 to 4 hours.
